Dispensing

I'd like to dispense with an excuse about the Iraq war that Bush suckups have been spewing for several years now.

They say, 'Yeah, there were no weapons of mass destruction, but Hussein was doing horrible dictator-type things and we had to go in there.'

No. We didn't have to go in there. If we invaded every country that did horrible things to its citizens, we'd be invading China, North Korea, Libya, Syria, Iran, Saudi Arabia, Vietnam, a quarter of Central/South America, half of Africa, and Walmart.

But we aren't invading everyone. No, just Iraq.

So if its not the dictator or his crimes that got us in Iraq, and there were no WMD, then what?

Its the oil, stupid. So obvious and yet Bush suckups will work themselves into a frenzy to come up with something else. Anything, ANYTHING, to support a guy who is singlehandedly destroying the world reputation of a once-great country. Better to back the idiot and his Halliburton buddy Chaney than to protect the integrity of our country. Why would an American soldier care to fight for a bunch of self-serving greedheads? I wouldn't.

We're just bullies now. Feels good, yeah?

I'm thinking maybe I'll go beat up my neighbor. I heard him yelling at his kids, so obviously he needs to be pummeled severely. And I'll just nab that new reciprocating saw of his while I'm at it. Anyone who would yell at their kids clearly is too dangerous to own power tools that I just happen to need.
